Hi,
Just made the transition from Windows to Mac, with my first MacBook Pro, and I am very pleased with it. However, I have one problem, in that I cannot connect to our network drive. I apologise if there have been other threads on this, as having searched it appears it may be due to the new OS X Lion, but unfortunately when I have searched I am yet to come upon a solution.
Anyway, the problem - I have a Freecom network drive plugged into the router. When looking under Network, it sees the drive, called FND, and the folder, Public. However, when I try to get onto this folder, where all the contents of the network drive are to be found, I get the message 'The operation can't be completed because the original item for "PUBLIC" can't be found.'
Does anyone know how to solve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
