problem in uninstalling MIRO

I have installed MIRO ( a free open source for video) but it seems to dominate all my dowloading and does not open my downloaded program so i want to remove MIRO It is in my dock and i cannot remove it . when i go to applications and try to drag in into trash it says it cannot as it is open
How do i close the program and trash it

You should be able to right click it's icon in the doc and select quit

Then trash the program from applications

Hi louishen,
i tried doing that when I right click and quit from dock it quits when i open applications and drag the icon to the trash it also open up in the dock and i get the message cannot trash as it is open

Hi, Louishen,
I went to Utliities then clicked on MIRO and quit the program it quit from the dock and i was able to trash it
