hi guys I am running Monterey 12.2.1

and I am no longer able to access any folder on my server ??

I have tried rebooting the server reinstalling the OS and so forth but no go.

server info is as follows

HP EX-470

it worked fine under high Sierra Mojave Catalina and Big Sur it was also working under Monterey but that seems to not be the case now.

its the same on both mac's I own

thanks for any advice.

How are (were) you accessing the folders on the server? What errors (if any) do you get?

hi Ashwin

I access the files by doing the following

go in finder and connect to server I enter the IP address and click connect it prompts me to log in I enter the correct log in details and it just shakes the box as if ive got them wrong and ive double checked them several times on both mac's

hi again I have found the fault.

my bios battery must have died in the server as the date and time was incorrect.

ive fixed it now and all is well.

thanks im glad I sorted it I had too much data on there to lose it lol.

but I wouldn't have thought the bios battery had died but it must be one of them things.
