Printer Drivers

I am using an Airport base station to run my 3 PCs and my iBook.
I would like to use my LaserJet 4 as my network printer, connected to the base station with a Jet direct 170x.
Where can I find the Panther print drivers for this printer?

yes, they only support OS 8. WHat happens is that the printer emits garbage. when attatched to the Airport.

Is your printer a LaserJet 4M? Macs only support the 4M because the other LaserJet 4's are not Postscript printers. I user a LJ 4Mplus on my network at home with my macs and PC's with no problems.

I am very interested in printing graphics files from my imac g5. These would include Quark 6, Illustrator, all the usual ps fonts, etc. My older, but perfectly functional hp 4m will not hook up directly. Should I buy a new printer or is there a card (Asante?) that I should buy? Thanks for any help.
