Prefs Router Setting for 2nd card for shared internet

I have 2 ethernet ports (internal and card in slot) and want to share the internet connection. For the "router" address on one it is the dsl internet connection.

What do I set the "router" ip address to in the system preferences:network for the second ethernect port which will be connected to a hub which then connects to my other machines?
