Is it possible to send a powerpoint presentation file, as an attachment, through email (hotmail) using a MAC. I need to send a ppt. attachment via email to work and my mac is the only computer I own thats attached to the internet. Can I place the ppt file on my MAC desktop and navigate to it through hotmail??? Thanks

I've never used Hotmail, but considering that you can send attachments of any kind through most of the competing web-based email services, I'd imagine it would work. It doesn't hurt to give it a shot.

definitely. It's just a file. You can even send .exe and .dll (LOL) through you mac. Your mac won't probably execute some kind of files...but you will manage them as you like.

Are you asking whether you can take a Powerpoint file from another computer, put it on your Mac, and then send it via email using a service like Hotmail?

If so, then yea. No problem :D

Yeah, I want to connect my USB memory stick to my MACbook and send an email with an attachment from the memory stick. Do I just drag the ppt attachment to my desktop and then navigate to the desktop from hotmail? How do I attach the file into my email?

hey man, you should do exactly the same thing as you would do if you had to attach a file to hotmail on a PC...

I'm not a hotmail user for a long time now, but I'm sure that in the new message window there's an option to attach/upload a file.

so you just have to point to your file at your desktop, and that's it
