I had thought of doing this at one time. I use Linksys stuff, but I haven't used their powerline stuff.
As far as I know, this is network infrastructure, and your Mac should work with any product out there that provides you with an Ethernet connection. Of course, there could be some weird, proprietary thing going on, that would exclude Macs somehow. But I don't know.
I do know, that I was going to go with the Linksys stuff, but then I got cheap, and ran some Cat5 around the outside of my house
