Hi, I just installed Yosemite and now I can't turn my MacBook off. Seems like the preferences have changed. Can anyone please tell me in which control panel you can change this?
Thanks!

You mean shut down or Restart? It's in the same place it's always been. Or do you mean something different?

It's Control-Power Button. Dialog comes up, select Shut Down.
Actually, it was changed in Maverick. No more just hit the power button to shut down.
I think that just puts it to sleep now.

Thank you!

I've worked out now. I had 10.5. before and it was just 'hit the power button'. Now it goes just to sleep.
You're right Craig, and it also works if you hold down the power button longer.

Thanks again Dennis and Craig, and Cheers, Wolf
