Power button LED doesn't work!

Okay, I just put a new hard drive in my MacBook (3.1) and set up a dual boot with Ubuntu, and at some point the LED on the power button stopped working.

Interesting thing is I ran the Apple hardware test and it found nothing wrong with the hardware.

Thoughts???

Mine sure has one...it lights up a very faint green (well, it used to, anyway)...

Hmmm....okay, maybe I'm on crack or something....but I could have sworn that the little I/O design lit up in a very, very faint green when the power was on...oh well...I guess if I AM on crack, that's a good thing regarding my MacBook.
