Hey everyone, I was wondering how Apple does the Popularity bar on iTunes? The reason I ask is because I have a show and it's now on iTunes. The popularity bar is light gray and full. Just wondering how Apple decides what's popular.

The "popularity" bar is based on the number of subscribers who added the show to their iTunes podcast catcher.

Apple is very cagey about how they go about rating podcasts. The Top 100 list is based on new subscribers per week, and not necessarily the number of downloads or subscriptions.
