When I plug my iPhone 5s into my Golf 7 audio-interface, the sound quality is very poor. Specifically, the base frequencies are gone. When playing via bluetooth, no problem, I get a full sound. Of course, with BT, I get limited access via the touch screen and the power is drained from the phone. I have tried other phones on my car and found the same problem, hence not the phone.
