got the Leopard disc?

P.S. "Please help" is a poor choice for topic. Besides being unoriginal, it's also not helpful.

leopard was supposed to come on the harddrive
Who did the original set up on the HD before u installed it - that should tell u something. Sounds like you bought it from a private sale and without the disk it is pirated software - try using your Tiger disks

If you don't have the Leopard retail disc, the Leopard on that hard drive is pirated. In addition to that, it sounds like it has been set up already by someone else, which would constitute a serious security risk for them (and possibly you).

I would erase the new hard drive and install whatever you have legal rights to install.
