I have a totally up-to-date PC running Vista, with a new HP photo printer attached to it. No problems on that end. I simply want to be able to print to this printer from my new MacBook, but have had nothing but problems when trying to add it. It keeps asking for a username/password, and no matter what I put in there, it does not accept it. I've found some other posts on the Internet about this and it seems that no one can figure it out??? I can't be the only person who wants to print from a MacBook to a shared Windows printer.......Please help.
