Playlist suggestions

I have ripped all my albums to iTunes but I want to start creating a few playlists.

Is there an addon or something in iTunes - windows and OS X that would suggest similar songs in my library (not ones I might like which I would have to buy off iTunes Music Store) to help me create a playlist of similar songs?

i.e. songs with a similar beat or tempo or songs that other people thought matched another song.

I know this isn't what you're after as I don't know of any apps for your needs but this site (Click) finds music similar to whatever band you enter. As I said, it's not what you're looking for but is pretty cool.
