When I need to work on a picture and click on it to "open with",about 20 choices are given. How do I whittle this list down to the 2 or 3 I use?
Some are on there 2-3 times.

You don't whittle the list down (unless you get rid of the unneeded applications).

Why not assign the app you want to use to be the default app to open JPGs?

Thx, I have done that. As you know different programs are better at certain things. I do a lot with pictures as well as 'preview' them from my e-mail.
The list is really long and even has some programs in the list 2-3 times.
Just hard to find fast what I need.

Clean Up Finder's "Open With" Menu but I know I've seen simple apps that will do that also, but it's a pretty simple procedure so I didn't go looking for it..
