What's everybody's opinion on them? I probably have 11K photos, undoubtedly with duplicates. Backups aside, it would be nice to have them organized and the dupes culled.

Photosticks? A brand? What?

I did search for photosticks, but all I found were USB Thumb drives branded and being sold a ridiculously high prices. Probably to folks who know nothing about computers and thumb drives.

Not sure how a USB stick is going to help with duplicates. Seems like a lot of marketing hype. If backup is the goal, Photo Stream from Apple and Google photos can do that automatically. If you want to do it manually, there are many places to store your photos.

Also, relying on a USB stick as your backup choice is poor one.
