Yea thanks Kev. . . .. I took it on y iPad Mini with ProCamera HD but could only get the image @ 480x640 (might need to play with settings), where as Camera+ shoots @ 2448x3264 ?? So a little disappointed or i have more looking into it lol but shoots video spectacularly in 1080P.
Ive used this image for MacWorld Aust iSnap iOS competition every month they run it .

Appreciate the comment :)

Just got a new superzoom -- a Canon SX50 HS as a gift! I was thinking about heading to DSLR land but I do love the superzooms and have gotten lots of good pics with em. Sure they're not quite the quality level of DSLRs but I make do all right -- and save myself a few thousand in lens addition in the process!

Here's a shot of Vancouver from Granville Island, downsized by 2/3rds for this forum:

Nice one, Brent!

And, Chas, nice pic. Some day, time and money allowing, I intend to visit your stomping grounds.

Brent,

After seeing your cave photo...I'm going to tell the wife that I've been to Australia...and now we can cross that destination off the travel list (and save some BIG BUCKS)!;);)

Trying something a bit different on posting pics, so hopefully this works. ;)

Took this photo handheld with my Birthday present, a Nikon V2. Used the FT1 Adapter so I could mount my Nikon 70-300mm VR.

EDIT: Post seemed to work fine, though pic may be a little low-res. I copied the image from my FB Album onto my iPad and uploaded from there.

Here's a tip for anyone who needs a quick-n-dirty RAW converter/fixer-upper that I discovered quite by accident:

XnView Software · XnConvert

It's FREE, handles both my Nikon (NEF) and Canon (CR2) RAW files, and does a really nice job with basic corrections, can add watermarks and can do things in batch if that's what you want. When I originally got this program I had no idea it could handle RAW files, I just used it for typical graphic file conversion jobs.

Sample pic (converted to JPG for uploading purposes):
