Trapsed around a 1300 year old Saxon church (Brixworth) this afternoon, and thought this made a good picture...
To right mate. I wasn't even a tickle in the old mans groin at that time, but needed to share as i love the image, care of the Australian War Memorial. And tat.. there's no way you were alive in 1942! Funny as heck shot though!
Here's my contribution for now... Just some guy who was listening to his AM radio near my house. Found him to be an interesting subject:
When i spent 3 yrs working holiday in the UK my first port of call was the little village of Kenilworth sort of in between Leamington Spa and Coventry. They had a old Castle (Kenilworth Castle) and very old Graves. Loved going there and doing HeadStone Scrapings with charcoal onto paper. . . .
This bought back memories (ThankYou ) and when i was there it was hard to fathom that this grave was here before Australia was even founded. Felt out of this world.
Doug - That shot you took of the guy having a smoke, is brilliant! Did you have to ask his permission to take his photo? As he doesn't look like the kind of chap that takes too kindly to having his photo taken!
And that looks like one angry cat you have there! I love it!
Shot at 700mm with Canon 7d , Canon L 500 F4 + Canon 1.4 extender ..
