Thats a Great shot!
My Parents have a condo in Ft. Myers Beach. When we head down there we see them all the time. They make nests in the most random places!

I like it! Pity about the buildings on either side though. They distract a little from the traffic which looks fantastic!!

I agree about the buildings. I took it from the room we were staying in last weekend. It was a spur of the moment shot, no preparation, just thought I would see if I could get it to work. Thanks for the comments.

A 1960's Thames Pilot Cutter found on the slip at Ramsgate - unfortunately I only had my Palm Centro with me so the results are not too good...

I disagree. I think the buildings make the photo more interesting. Traffic shots like that are overdone and rarely interesting any more.

Thumbs up!

Thanks :) I think it was set for a 15 or 20 second exposure. It was a really nice clear night & so was perfect for some night photography. I'm just starting out with my DSLR and so am experimenting with shots at the moment, I'm thinking of a Tamron 70-300 zoom lens soon so that I can catch birds etc.

Personally, I like the purple reflections in the water from the coloured lights on the building.
