I agree with Absolute Zero...

What the **** has this Windows-crash question to do here?!?
It's really a sign of pure stupidity to pollute a thread that reminds a tragic death...

Okay, why did he call it a pear-pc. I have heard of a banana-pc and an Apple-pc. So what's with all these fruits.

I guess because Apples and Pears are somehow related, and since PearPC emulates the ApplePC... it kinda mankes sense.

well... i don't see why PC users want Mac OS on their wintel machines, if they hate the mac so much. don't ask me about whether they like Mac or not... just look at the trolls that patrol this forum... it's plain obvious.

Although some non-mac users who are new to the platform say things like:

"Mac are so expensive",
"everything is (or used to be) propriety"
"you can't play many games on them";
"mac's must be slower, look at the Mhz blah!"
"how you manage with only ONE mouse button?"
"Mac are for designers"

It's plain to say, if you can afford to build a rock steady PC with decent components giving you same or equal performance and features, you could effectively buy a Mac and get an Official copy of the OS without paying Extra for it.

It's always nice to have more options as to what OS you can run on your machine. You dont understand why people would like to be able to run the 2 major OS's on one machine and have the best of both worlds?

You could build a Mac, but you wouldn't be saving a lot, maybe a few bucks...

Hmm... yeah, if Mac users wanted to run a PC then they would run VPC. But have you seen the number of PC users who say Macs are and i quote "Crap!" then copy the theme.

Virtual PC's speed is slow as molases on a hot day going up a hill.

And that had nothing to do with my statement, at all.
