Password

Can logon to Mac using old password, but if connect the network cable or have Airport turned on and I try to login in using the new network password it does not accept the login. Tried to change the password in Accounts but states I need to contact the System Administrator.

WAAAAAAAY to few details to be able to provide any meaningful answer. Start with system specs, including OS version.

It also sounds like you are not using an Admin account, so the first question is "who's machine are you actually using, because apparently it's not yours."
