Is this when you go to send an email or receive it? Regardless, there should be a checkbox to remember your password. Now, this is for Apple Mail - you didn't specify the email client so I'm assuming you're using Mail.

Well what kind of Email are you using? Gmail? Yahoo? Hotmail?
Email password
I have verizon web mail & it goes into Mail 4.5 (Mac mail I call it ) It's worst today everytime I use it It ask me for my password even though I check off remember my password in my keychain each time it comes up. Boy! I need help.

I get this with AT&T Yahoo occasionally and ignore it about the second time it goes away its when I enter the password and hit remember it will haunt me for hours so i figure its a server issue and its always me.com account.

It is a server issue. I got it a whiles back with my gmail account going through MacMail.
@OP you just need to persist with it and hope it doesnt annoy you too much. One way i found was to open the email account via the browser window. Its a short fix but it worked for me.
