Since I upgraded to Yosemite when I clear history I lose my username and password to my e-mail account even though I have the remember me box checked. Is there any way around this so I don't have to log in every time I go to my e-mail? Thanks

Clear history where? Are you referring to clearing history from your web browser? What does that have to do with accessing your mail account? Are you saying you're accessing your mail account via the web? Even if you are, clearing web browser history should not clear remembered names and passwords unless you do a complete reset which is an option in Safari.
Otherwise, if your name and password are entered correctly in your Keychain, they will be remembered when you open your mail account and check.
