Paperport equivalent

I am considering purchasing a Mac Pro tomoz. However I have 16gb of files in my Windows Paperport programme. How can I port these across to a Mac so they work in the same way. Paperport do not support Apple so is there an Apple equivalent.

I haven't found anything yet which says it can handle Paperport. I did find an e-Bay auction which claimed to have a Mac version of Paperport but I think it may have been a very old version of the program at best.

Ir might be worth checking out some of the software from Neat Software for Mac | Digital Filing Software | The Neat Company. They have a free trial. Their support site doesn't mention anything about Paperport but perhaps an e-mail to them would get some answers.

As a last resort I think some users have resorted to running a small Windows installation on their Mac to use the software.

After doing a quick search, this was recommended as a Mac equivalent.
