Palm OS sync and 10.4.9

When I upgraded to OS 10.4.9, my treo 700p stopped syncing to my macbook. I've narrowed down the problem to the isync conduit. I've installed the conduit multiple times with no luck. I can't get the isync conduit to appear in the hotsync manager conduit settings.

Any suggestions?

For what it's worth, I always thought the Mac version of the Palm Desktop was totally lousy, so I rarely used it. I could never get it to sync properly with my Tungsten E.

I use The Missing Sync, which costs $40, but it's worth every penny. I've never had a problem with Syncing.
