Sorry everyone, I know that I'm there at least once a day making sure I haven't/am not going to break the law . I guess that packing.org is either an essential bookmark or of no value what-so-ever, depends on the person.

I know when someone pointed a gun at me in anger I was packing something and it wasn't cardboard boxes or polystyrene cups.

Packing.org is a great resource for folks who travel. Since the firearms & carry laws differ so much from state to state, having a single location with all the necessary info in one place is really useful. The Forums there are a little goofy, but the CCW tool and state law summaries are great.

It's wise to double check though... The info regarding KS (the state I reside in) is very old, and major changes (positive) have taken place since the packing.org info was last updated for KS.

A very good suggestion. If their carry information is not up to date, the do generally give plenty of contact info (State police, attorney general, ect.) for you to find out for yourself.
