OS X 10.5.8 suddenly not connecting to internet

This is about a 5 year old laptop, generally works well. All of a sudden it's saying "This webpage is not available. The server at Google can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed.... etc"

Computer is connected to wifi router with airport showing full bars, and all other computers in the house are connecting fine. I messed around in network settings for awhile and couldn't find anything amiss. All appears to be ok... any ideas?

Which model (laptop)?

Does it work if you connect directly to the router with an ethernet cable?

What browser are you using?

Try clearing your temporary data in the browser.

In Safari: Go to Safari > Reset Safari
In Firefox: Go to Tools > Clear Recent History
