Os 9 Dock?

Just a quick question... Does any version of OS 9 have a dock or the aqua look like in panther?

There is a dock in Mac OS X 10.0 (Cheetah) Mac OS X 10.1 (Puma) Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) and Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther).

A quick search of MacUpDate shows a utility called Dockzone. The url is: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/1483. This is an old shareware with little info. Good Luck.

I don't know which is better, as I have never used Dockzone.

I've never tried DockZone either, but I recently installed A-Dock on my G3 AIO running OS 9.1, and it works extremely well. Very OS X-like in appearance and function.

IIRC, in OS 9 you can pull down and "tear off" the Application menu (upper right) to get a handy application switching toolbar...not exactly a "dock," since it only shows running apps, but sometimes nice to have. Don't know when this feature was added, but it was there in OS 9 and was replaced by the Dock in OS X.
