Do I have to uninstall Onyx for Yosemite, if I do tell me how. I check HELP and don't see uninstall there when it says Onyx don't work for El Capitan??

Drag the new version of Onyx to the same location as your current version of Onyx. IIRC the Finder will ask you what you want to do. Choose "Replace".

Using Onyx...Running everything ticked on the Automation tab should take care of all cleaning and maintenance that you need.

Let us know 'how' you did the Onyx update? For myself, I was on v. 3.1.2 which I opened and then had the app check for an update, v. 3.1.3 was then downloaded; I clicked on the 'disk image' (i.e. *.dmg) which extracted the *.app file and dragged to my Applications folder (see first image below) - I was asked the questions in the dialog box shown and chose 'Replace' - after installation, clicked on the app icon -> About and the second image appeared w/ the updated version (arrow in second image). Dave :)

I was using the beta version of Onyx, so it would not update. When using betas, the only way to change versions is to manually go to the site (or MacUpdate) and grab the latest one when it comes out of beta.

No it is not. Was released from Beta a few days ago. The new Beta version is 3.1.4 but suggest strongly you do not use Beta versions Dittoman1.
