Here ya go. I have my VPC set to open in fullscreen mode (1680x1050) so it looks just as though I were running it on a PC of the same resolution.

I'd take a screenshot of mine, but it looks almost identical to yours. :)

(With the exception of your user icon, of course.)

You can DEFINITELY play PC games, but it will also DEFINITELY be slow. Haha.

Hey, Bassplayrr, how does the VPC run on your 20inch iMac G5 with 1GB of RAM? Does it lag when doing basic stuff like surfing the web, running a few programs here and there? I'd like to know since I might be interested in getting VPC for my PowerBook 1.67GHz with 1GB to start with, which'll be upgraded to a full 2GB in the future. Thanks!

Remember that you're running a software emulator, not an actual PC.

With VPC on my iBook I can play simpler, non-graphics-intensive games (like Hoyle Casino) without a problem, but I'd never attempt anything that requires heavy Intel-based hardware or advanced video cards.

It's pretty slow, but it never freezes up or lags too much. When I click on icons and scroll through menus they all move fairly smoothly. When I check under 'System' while in windows it describes my computer as being 600mhz with 256 ram and a 16mb video card, and that's about what it feels like. It runs fine for simple tasks such as Office apps and the occasional web browsing I do while in VPC, but anything more and she begins to whimper. You can set the ram all the way up to 512mb, but I saw no real performance gains. In fact, I read in an article somewhere that setting the ram higher will actually decrease performace due to some virtual memory issues. I can't really remember the specifics, but I'll post s link to the article if I can find it. You may want to try a google search.
