Older MacBook losing ability to pick up WiFi

I have a MacBook from about 2010 or 2011. Runs great, except that it is beginning to drop the Internet connection more and for longer. Everyone else in the house has no problems. Is it the Mac, and if so, is there a fix? PS The Ethernet jack is long since broken (and it's a unibody).
