Offsite Backup

Your Mac's Specs
MacBook Air OS X 10.7 1.7 Intel Core i5 4GB, MacMini mid-2011
New Mac and looking for an offsite backup solution. Currently use time machine to backup to an external hardrive that seems to work great.

Want to have an automated offsite backup - can .mac or mobileme (?) be used for that? Any other suggestions?

I've started doing monthly backups to DVD-RW and then keeping the backup set offsite. You could do this with an external HD as well.
