I must be the only one here that likes my current setup enough not to change it! Perhaps I just need to download more themes and icon sets.

I just change it every now and then, I have so many backgrounds, they change every five minutes, and its usually weeks before I see one repeat.

This is my current holiday desktop. I believe I got the wallpaper and icons from pixelgirl.

yes thanks for that mate,
quite easy to do isn't it?

even easier for some, I use a contectual menu plugin, I control click a doc or folder or whatever, go to finder icon submenu in that, select copy, control click the one I want to change, select paste, and thats it. theres also candybar and pixadex.

hey macman, how did you get those "custom" icons? I love the Autobot one! Well l like them all actually, what's the trick?

do you mean how I changed them, or where I got them? I can tell you the marvel ones, its a huge set, is unavailable for public use, the others like finding nemo, ice age, and spongebob are from resex:

...I'll have to see where I got the transformers set.
