My latest desktop, I was in the mood for something brighter. This is obvious CGI, but I think it looks good. I also went to a clear dock. And yes, this time, I have some battery power (some)!!!

Screen spanning is using multiple monitors but not in "mirror" mode. The consumer level macs only support mirror mode, the professional level macs support a sort of extended desktop mode. However, with the use of 3rd party software, consumer level macs can also use extended desktop mode (ie. screen spanning).

that is prety cool how you did that, I would just probably switch the screens around and have the 2 dollar bill on the right, and change the system prefferences so it knows that screen is on the right.

here is my latest desktop... good friend made the back ground, decided it was nice to keep for a little bit, might not last tho, lol...

background was made on art.com i captured the screen and made the resolution better and set it as a background on her computer then decided to put it on mine as well.

Apple's consumer level models (no screen spanning, just mirroring):
Mini, iMac, eMac, iBook

Apple's professional models (screen spanning possible through OS X):
Powermac, Powerbook

If you are interested in screen spanning for a consumer level mac, I recommend checking out this link: http://www.rutemoeller.com/mp/ibook/supportlist_e.html

Please correct me if I'm wrong abt. the consumer vs. pro stuff.

I like it too, well the way it looks, I just would keep forgetting that the menu bar was actually on the other screen, lol

I generally like to have my backgrounds match my mood. Well my mood is a bit dark.
