How do you get the finder out of the dock?

To return a widget back to the dashboard, just hold and click on the widget and press F12 again to put the widget back in the Dashboard environment.

How do you get the finder out of the dock?

Hello Solidstalin. I think ur mistaken, my finder is indeed in the dock. It is the first icon on the left. The Icon is changed from the normal Finder symbol, so maybe that indicated to you that I have gotten rid of Finder from the dock, when I haven't.

Can you tell me how you do this with your icons?

I use Pixadex. Select an Icon in Pixadex and drag a folder onto it. Icon changes instantly. Hope that helps.
