I'm on a Macmini M1,16 gig of ram. Lately, I have noticed this NRDupdate service appears to be using an inordinate amount of resources. This shows up in EtreCheck and the App Tamer app. I don't notice any lag due to its running but is this something I should be concerned about?

A man page I found online (here) suggests that it is a daemon (things that runs in the background) that is responsible for making sure system recovery is up to date. I'd let it be for now to see if it settles itself once it's done doing what it needs to.
