Notes app glitch

Kind of a small issue, but still annoying. On iOS 15.1 — when editing a note, I hit “Done” then tap back where I left off and the screen jumps to the top. So I have to scroll all the way back down to continue. Any way to fix this?

Bump. This glitch is so annoying! For example, a long grocery list in Notes jumps all over the place and it loses my place on the list so I have to constantly scroll to where I last left off. Thank you.

I don't think you can prevent that from happening. The Notes app is not setup to act like a word processor where you can keep your place using a bookmark. There are other note taking apps for iOS which may be better in that regard, but most are not free.

I use Notes to keep track of things like a list of medications or quick fix commands for computers, but if I need to create a lot of content I use GoodNotes. It integrates across all my apple devices and I can change the layout to suit me. There is a learning curve to get use to it and it does cost $7.99.
