I upgraded my 2 MacBook Air laptops to Ventura, one is the 2020 m1 MacBook Air, and the other is an unsupported early 2015 MacBook Air upgraded from Monterey to Ventura using the OCLP tool. Both upgraded perfectly, and both work awesome on Ventura, however neither one seems to completely sleep when closing the lid. Wondering if maybe because I just did the upgrades on both last night out of boredom.... if maybe they are doing something "behind the scene" or if they forgot how to sleep properly.....

What are the symptoms of this not sleeping? How do you know it's not sleeping? It could be a setting, but it's hard to diagnose with, "It isn't working" as the only clue.

The screen wouldn't shut off. I think I figured it out by rereading the instructions for the oclp patch and I forgot to do the post install patch for the display, so it thought it was an unknown display and didn't know how to act. did the post install patch and it appears to be acting normally now.
