.... ajax, comet, brillo?
kidding, DONT DO THAT.

It depends on if that glossy layer is a sheet of plastic that can be removed or if it's part of the display. Personally I'd not mess with it.

There is an opportunity for some company to produce an anti-glare screen cover for the MacBook. Some form of film should work.

Blimey I wouldnt like to apply a thin film over my screen. Imaging trying to get any air bubbles out with out getting dust under it!

I don't think it'll matter if you put a non glossy screen over a glossy screen. The glossy screen will still reflect.

weird. i often am on my macbook with my back to a large southern facing window during the day and though i need to adjust the brightness i don't have too much of a problem with glare.

ok tbh its not that bad but its still a pain when trying to watch a film or something with a lot of dark shots

also if more than one of you is watching the screen they carnt really see it coz of the angel.

Maybe the angel doesn't think you should be watching those kind of movies.

hahaha....
actually, the glossiness of the screen doesn't really effect the viewing angLE....i find my macbook's viewing angle not much different than my friend's ibook.
