Today I went to load my images and I could not see the thumbnails. I then upgraded to Mojave which says D850 raw files are supported. I have done everything I know to do. Can someone help. This has screwed up my workflow :(

I don't have a D850, but...
Can you tell us more detail about what the workflow is -- are you using Apple's "Image Capture" to download files?

There is another tread on her going over this same issue, I believe it was last month

+1. please, maybe provide a few more details as to what apps you use and how you normally work with your photos.

What OS version were you using before you uped to Mojave UPS?
Edit here: I just read this at another forum:
The Nikon D850 is only supported in High Sierra so you would need to upgrade. If you are on High Sierra the Nikon D850 RAW files are supported so you can use it in Preview, Photos and the Finder will show them too, but if you are still using iPhoto then it will not.

Were you using any extra files or extensions for viewing the Nikon raw files??

Can you actually see the files that you imported??? What format or extension file name are they using???

Can you think of what you were doing, or installing or uninstalling, just before the thumbnails seemed to have disappeared.

I had the same issue with my Fujifilm GFX50R. That might be the thread Bob is thinking about?

Anyway, the cause in my case was my change to using lossless compressed RAW files. Have you changed the way your D850 is saving RAW files?

I thought they’re was a thread that referred to the D850, but I guess I was wrong. I looked and couldn’t find it. No, I didn’t mean it was the OP.

Yes, that was the one I was thinking about, thanks for that.
