[Fredless]

Hi all. I bought this eMac back in September 2002 during my senior year in high school to do reports on etc...because I got tired of random windows screw ups. I'm trying to learn the emac more in depth now because I've been on PC's my whole life and when I move out in a few months, my parents are keeping the PC and I'm taking my eMac.

It runs great and all, only thing I'm disappointed in is the 3D Performance (Warcraft III is a PAIN).

Any upgrades besides memory for the e-mac? Recently stuck another 256mb stick of memory into it and it didn't do anything really. Ohh well. What about defragging? Is it necessary? Wondering if I have to buy norton system works..

What about viruses etc with OSX?

From what I have read don't use any norton products. Most have suggested disk warrior instead.

As for viruses, I have not see or heard of any for Mac OS X.

As for WCIII I'm sure it runs bad because of the video card, I don't know how to upgrade eMacs, or any mac in that matter. But you can google it.
