Hi

I accepted new terms this morning whilst trying to get a new game. Now even after a reboot, it takes me to the US store which I cannot purchase in, instead of taking me to the UK store.

Any idea how I resolve this?

thanks
Dave

Try opening iTunes - go to 'Store' on the menu bar - View my account - verify the country setting there and/or click on 'Change Country'.

Also verify that computer didn't somehow become accidentally de-authorized.

oh and GBR or Great Britain is also not there.. my account says its set to GBR but without it as an available option in the list I assume something has gone wrong.

The only other suggestion I have is going to be move the iTunes preference file to the desktop.

Quit iTunes - Open up Finder and head for Users / your user / Library / Preferences and move 'com.apple.iTunes.plist' to the desktop.

Re-open iTunes - It's going to act as if this is the first time you have opened it.
The problems I am aware of in doing this: it will not find and put your Audible books in the Library and for some reason it loses the artwork for some Magnatune albums.

You'll need to sign in to iTunes and re-authorize your computer again. It does recognize that this is a computer that is already authorized, so it doesn't add to your total of 5 computers allowed.

If it doesn't work, you can always replace the new preference file it created with the one that's still sitting on your desktop.

thanks for that.

I have, I believe fixed it however.

I logged out of itunes account on my phone and logged back in, and its now working. Basic fix for a very annoying problem, which was obviously never tested as all testers are in the states ! ;-)
