2.26, 2GB , Two months old. I've been using macs for a couple of years now so not entirely a newby to them but my latest 'baby' is having a few hiccups. It runs fine for an hour or so, then gradually slows up. Whichever browser or application I'm using starts to freeze.. spinning beach ball can take form a few seconds to perma spin needing shut down via the power button as nothing will force quit. If I leave the mac for 30 mins and start it up again, it's ok for a few hours before it starts again. It doesn't feel particularly hot (not compared with my old macbook which is scorching!) but that's the only thing I can think of. Rang apple who advised me to reset PRAM etc... hasn't helped. Any suggestions welcomed as I live some distance from any Apple store!! Thanks!
