I only took a really close look but I think that drive is for a desktop, you need a 2 1/2" sata drive.

Ahhhh thanks Reel1. I am a computer moron when it comes to hardware. The places with cheaper hard-drives unfortunately don't give you any compability info, and the ones with the compability info are expensive for the most part.

Usually if they don't specify SATA then it is PATA.

btw, if you check out a few of the other threads on this topic you should find plenty of HD buying advice for MacBooks.

I put a 100G 7200 drive in my MacBook but can't honestly say it is any faster than the 160G 5400 drive in my MB-Pro, personally I would advise going for the biggest 5400 drive you can afford.

Amen-Moses

btw2, I've noticed an iBook in you computer list, I put a 120Gb 5400 PATA drive in my iBook a few weeks ago (bit of a fiddly job but doable if you are very careful) and it made a huge difference to it!
