Yes, I saw this earlier today. I definitely like the style and layout. Although, I'm not sure if it will be able to tear people away from the automatic "google" habit. Every time I want to search for something I just head right up the handy search bar in my browser, that is obviously powered by google.

I agree. I like the traditional list. Not some sort of column with a picture. Looks too stuffed, seems like everything would be harder to find.

I agree, google wins, and has never failed me. The extra 10 or 20 billion useless pages are just that, useless to me.

I had trouble with it using both Safari and Firefox. Apparently they had a lot of trouble today. I kind of like the format though. Time will tell on this one.

I have to say I really don't like it. The results page is waaaaaay too cluttered and it doesn't show enough of the results.

I have to agree... The first time a saw the results page, I spent like 10 seconds trying to figure out how it was organized...

Also the pictures are not really that accurate. The picture next the the "Apple Inc." result was a penguin with the words 'Linux Power' written next to it... ;)

tear it to shreds...
i dont think it was around yesterday?
i did a screen to screen google/culie comparison

-google came up with more relevant stuff up front, culie never found these pages.

-if someone typed in culie.COM why so much none junk/ error/ none english content in their pages?

-culie is a stupid name. name something someone wants to remember. wasnt Culie a deposed rock star ceo for HP? now a wannabe republican vp candidate.

Bingo. In my testing, I've yet to actually get a relevant hit in the first page.

Google is way easier to use, I think. At least I'm more used to it. It may have more results, but I prefer Google because it's Google.

How do you search images on Cuil? And why does searching for apple turn up an image of "netshred" that doesn't seem anywhere near apples category.

Plus, it already fails. Are you gonna say "let google it" or "let c-c-c-cuil it"
