One thing's for sure, the Apple OS X developers sure didn't want to, or more likely weren't even allowed, to make it at all obvious. Jony's interface guidelines rules… :( :(

And, why is that segregated area so special that we can't put alias' in with the applications on the "good side of the tracks"?
Would it not make logical sense to have, for instance, the link to the Help pdf for CrummyCAD right next to the icon to launch CrummyCAD.app?
