I wanted to see how to change a System Setting on my Sonoma 14.3.1 iMac without a mouse.
I hit option F2 (also ⌥ F2 or alt F2) and System Settings opened.
"Displays" is showing, but it is only half-gray. I tried to move the cursor or to select even that setting by pressing Return. I can't navigate around the System Settings menu.
I tried Ctl-Fn-F2, and the cursor went to the apple menu, moved to view and was able to select a different System Setting.
But that didn't help me. I still couldn't figure out how to get from the left side of the menu to the right side to actually make a change.
I've tried variations of ⌘ + fn + F7 and control + fn + F8 and all sorts of things I've Googled, but so far without any luck.
