cwa, you know that as soon as the iPhone lands on Verizon, the rumor mill is going to get started on the iPhone coming to TMobile and/or Sprint. If it comes to them, then it's going to be all about the smaller regional carriers. It's never ending for people who are clearly very bored with their lives.
Oddly, I hope it goes to Verizon. When and if it does this will not only ease the congestion on AT&Ts network, as all the lemming jump ship again, but it will highlight just how good Verizons network isn't.
I think you'll be surprised.
I always get a kick out of watching my verizon friends wait and wait and wait for web to load on "nations biggest 3G network"
I just wish apple would quit with all of the secretive crap.
My phone is at the end of it's life-cycle (blackberry storm). Doing all the things a phone does when it's ready to irritate you into buying another phone.
That droid-x is looking awfully appealing, but if there was a confirmation that iPhone was coming, I might hold off for a bit. Surely, I can't be the only one thinking this, and it must affect sales.
The problem with Verizon is that moving to them will require buying a new unit. If I could just pop a Verizon SIM into my iPhone and go, then I'd switch in a heartbeat. Even if I had to jailbreak the iPhone and then put in a Verizon SIM, that might be okay too (that the phone needs jailbreaking is a sin in and of itself, though). But buying a new unit just to be compatible with their CDMA network -- no way.
