So I have been running the public beta of Mojave since mid July and although there have been obvious changes and additions in Mojave overwhelmingly the most profound change that I see in day to day use (apart from the novel transitional desktop image) is Dark Mode.
I was using dark mode in High Sierra but of course that only effected the Tool Bar and Dock.
Now I have primarily white text on a black background for all native apps and windows even some third party app's.
Personally I love it but i wonder how popular it will be?
Obviously a lot of people will not have had the opportunity to even try it yet but for those that have, what do you think?
For myself I'd like to see it on the iPhone as well.

Rod, I presume the Dark Mode is optional, i.e. you can turn it on/off?

I use Dark Mode in macOS Sierra - not yet upgraded to HS, which I expect to do very soon mainly because I don't intend to go to Mojave till early 2019 - let it settle in first.

I've only held off HS because it seemed to me that it started out with a few niggles and Sierra is rock solid as far as I'm concerned.

For sure Dark Mode in Sierra and High Sierra looked better to me. When Apple changed the look of the Dock in Sierra, the dock to me looked ugly till I enabled Dark mode. In Mojave I like the full dark mode overall and I am sure many will love it. I showed it to a non Mac Windows friend of mine and he liked it.

Ian, yes you can enable or disable Dark Mode in Mojave.

I find it's much easier on my eyes especially in low light conditions and colours are really vivid against the black background. Photos against the black background really look great.

Ian, I would like to think HS would be pretty stable by now, after all Mijave is due for public release next month.

High Sierra is very stable. Only thing they did is basically remove google chat from messages. It's there but does not work. Mojave completely removed all traces of it. There is an app that works with Google Chrome that allows you to chat Via Google chat which they are now calling Hangouts.

Between iMessage, SMS, Snapchat, Messenger, WhatsApp, Twitter and Instagram I have quite enough social media message services to keep up with, although if Google Chat had ever really caught on I'd probably be forced to use that as well.
Really I just use Messenger and Whats App primarily but my daughter insists on posting pictures of the grand-kids on Instagram.
