Hello,

For some reason my iPad is "Unable to Join the Network" (my own), and I keep getting that message...However, when I click on ANY of my neighbor's networks, I'm prompted for a password (which is what should happen when I click on my own network, but instead I'm given the error message).

Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?

PROBLEM SOLVED:

  1. Click on the arrow to the right of the network name
  2. Click "Forget This Network"
  3. A confirmation window will appear asking if you want the device to stop trying to automatically join this network
  4. Click "Yes"
  5. Select your network name again and you'll be asked for your password

Also just to let you know for future use.

You are limited by how many wireless devices you can have on one router which creates issues as well.

Nice job solving your own problem. What are some of us going to do for fun if you keep doing that. lol

Thanks for posting the fix. I'd forgotten that simple solution.
